Legislation will do little, warns lobby
A British pro-smoking lobby says new legislation in the Isle of Man is likely to be ineffective.
A law which came into effect on Wednesday (March 30) means anyone who smokes inside a vehicle carrying passengers younger than 16 could be fined up to £5,000.
But Forest UK Director Simon Clark pointed to a lack of enforcement of similar rules in England.
He said it's an 'insult' to responsible smokers:
