
The Snaefell mountain road is currently closed due to hazardous driving conditions.
The route was closed overnight, as a good covering of snow iced over.
A Department of Infrastructure roads team will review the situation later today.
Police say conditions are also poor on the coast road, which is slippery but remains open. Drivers are advised to avoid north-south journeys if possible.
Bus services 3 and 3A serving Laxey and Ramsey via the coast road are suspended for the time being.
