
The director of a local software firm says the vastly increased use of social media in the run-up to next month's Manx general election is inevitable.
In 2006, the year of the last election, Facebook was just starting to snowball in popularity, while Twitter was only launched in the July of that year.
But this time around a number of candidates are using the likes of Facebook and Twitter to reach out to voters, particularly younger ones.
