But Manx Utilities on target to confirm design later this year
There have been 'some delays' to plans for a new windfarm in the south of the Island as Manx Utilities continues to seek a manufacturer to appoint.
The chair of the authority, MHK John Wannenburgh, says there are ongoing 'contractual complexities' surrounding the procurement process.
Despite that, Mr Wannenburgh - responding in a Tynwald Written Answer - says Manx Utilities remains on target to confirm the likely design later this year, following selection of a manufacturer.
The question asked: "How many wind turbines are planned, what height they will be and what levels of power generation are expected?"
That all depends on which manufacturer is selected, Mr Wannenburgh says, adding 'multiple designs are currently possible'.
