Songs from the shows to raise funds for Age Concern

One of the Miss Isle of Man competitors is turning her love of acting and the theatre into an opportunity to raise finds and awareness for an island charity.

Eighteen year old Niamh Murdoch has brought together some of the best known names from the world of Manx musical theatre for an evening of "Songs from the Shows".

 

Niamh, who was the runner up in the Young Actor of Mann 2016, will host the show at Kensington Arts Centre herself - she's also done all the design and production work.

 

She's taking part in the Junior Achievers Miss Isle of Man Community challenge, and is holding the concert to raise funds and awareness for  Age Concern Isle of Man.

 

She says she's whilst she fundraising aspect of the Miss Isle of Man competition was a lucky dip - the cause is close to her heart.
