Southern 100 plans to go ahead in July

Meeting will be dependent on Covid restrictions at time

Organisers of the Southern 100 meeting next July say they will continue to plan for the event.

They are urging competitors, officials, marshals and spectators to make sure their accommodation bookings and travel arrangements are changeable or refundable should the provisional dates have to be changed.

Lead sponsors the Isle of Man Steam Packet has confirmed bookings will not be subject to an amendment fee and are fully refundable should the event be re-scheduled or cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic

The meeting is provisionally scheduled to take place between Monday 12 and Thursday 15 July.

It is emphasised the event is dependent on Isle of Man Government policy in force prior to and during the event.

Southern 100 Racing say they look forward to welcoming back fans old and new to the "friendly races" held on the Colas Billown Course since 1955.
