Six members of Tynwald have indicated they will not support next year's budget if there isn't provision for Castle Rushen High School or the Southern Community Swimming Pool.
The members, all from the south of the Island, made the declaration in a statement this week.
MHK's Tim Glover, Michelle Haywood, Jason Moorhouse and SHK Juan Watterson and MLC's Diane Kelsey and Rob Mercer says they're fighting for the existing pool to be maintained for community use until a new one is built and for Castle Rushen High School to gain financial approval.
