Speed limit remains for now, though
A stretch of road in the south of the Island is fully open once again, having been one-way for the last fortnight.
The section between Fishers Hill and Shore Road has been resurfaced, with the Department of Infrastructure implementing the one-way system while its staff were carrying out the work.
The DoI says a 40mph speed limit remains in place, with no overtaking allowed, for now, while contractors put the finishing touches to the project and the new surface beds in.
Meanwhile, parking restrictions temporarily introduced on the Colby Road have been lifted, and the cones removed.
