'Take chance' to give views on development
An MHK is calling for on Island residents to make their feelings known about the government's proposed Area Plan for the East.
The plan is in the very early stages, what's being termed 'preliminary publicity', and has to go through many phases before something concrete ends up before Tynwald in two years or so.
However, there has been concern about the inclusion of certain sports sites and facilities for possible development in the east of the Island.
Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker highlighted this in the House of Keys yesterday.
He says people need to speak up if they object:
Hospital patients urged to pack photographic ID
DEFA decision not to respond to FOI deemed 'inappropriate'
Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool upgrade delayed again
Mountain Road to remain closed
