Union head has concerns
A trade union head is concerned the terms and conditions of Steam Packet employees could get worse, after the company moves under government ownership.
An employee contacted Manx Radio recently - worried that the move will have negative consequences for staff.
Eric Holmes of Unite says whilst an 'arms length' approach to ownership will mean no changes in the short term, those fears could become a reality further down the line.
