Statement from Education Minister to follow questions in today's Tynwald sitting

Six questions come from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK, Jason Moorhouse

A statement by the Education Minister into the first stage of an independent external investigation into Relationships and Sex Education will follow the eight questions in today's Tynwald Question paper.

Six of those inquiries come from the Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK, Jason Moorhouse, whose inquiries range from toilets to trains.

Mr Moorhouse wants to know what data was collected and how many people used a harbour side toilet block in Castletown in the six months before they closed and the cost of repairing a train damaged by a fallen tree in Ballabeg on New years Eve.

He will also ask the number of teachers over 50 and over 55 and the cost of installing smart and traditional electricity meters.

Tim Glover will about the value of unpaid local authority rates while the Speaker wants to know about a report on regulations regarding minium standards’ for private rental properties.
