The Ben-my-Chree had to turn back to Douglas this morning (Friday), because of a medical emergency on board.
A passenger collapsed shortly after the vessel departed for Heysham, and it was decided to return to the Victoria pier, where an ambulance was waiting.
The passenger was taken to Noble's hospital, but no condition report has been released.
The ferry left Douglas for the second time about 35 minutes later than the scheduled departure time.
