Company must wait for August's inflation figure before setting next year's ticket prices
The Steam Packet Company says bookings for travel beyond January 2025 will be possible when the company's new schedule is released in October.
From that point travellers will be able to book sailings through to the end of January 2026.
The provisions of the Sea Services Agreement allows for one annual change to ticket prices - the percentage change that can be applied is limited to a maximum of the Manx Consumer Prices Index for August.
As a result the company has to wait for the figure to be released before fares can be fixed and schedules released for the following year, subject to approval by the Department of Infrastructure.
