
The Department of Education says there’s still time to apply for pre-school credit for the coming year.
The scheme provides £350 towards the cost of pre-school places, with £800 more for parents of children eligible for free school meals.
The scheme was introduced last year after the then Education Minister Peter Karran took the decision to scrap free places in nurseries.
