Crookall says decision to open rests with SPC
The new ferry terminal in Liverpool is nearing completion but it’s not yet known when the first passengers will be able to use it.
That’s from the infrastructure minister who has told Manx Radio that decision will ultimately rest with the Steam Packet Company.
The project has cost around three times more than the initial £25 million estimate.
Reports this week, from Liverpool, suggest the facility will be in operation by March but Tim Crookall told Manx Radio there’s still work to be done:
Isle of Man population edges upward to 84,975 as migration drives growth
More services to be temporarily relocated from Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Friday evening sailings subject to possible disruption or cancellation
