Residents urged to ensure they have a safe place for deliveries
Police believe an 'opportunist thief' may be operating in Ramsey after a number of parcels were stolen.
They were removed from an address on Queen's Pier Road, at around midday, on Monday (20 June).
Officers say they think someone is targeting packages that have been left on doorsteps, or in clear view, by local couriers.
They’re urging residents to ensure they have a safe and secure place where deliveries can be made or to arrange for a friend, or relative, to receive them in person.
In a statement on Facebook the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team adds: "It only takes a second for someone to pick up a parcel without drawing too much attention to themselves leaving you out of pocket and without the product/s that you ordered."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
