An armed forces veteran is urging government to stop financially ‘nibbling away at the edges’ to the detriment of older members of society.
Charles Wilson is concerned certain decisions are undermining the confidence of a vulnerable section of the Island’s population.
He’s cited the change in operation of the meals on wheels service, the tv licence fee for over 75s and nursing care charges as areas where more can be done to protect the elderly.
