Stopping under-18s vaping 'almost impossible' without age restriction laws

MHK seeks update on plans to stop retailers selling vaping products to children

There's 'no chance' of stopping children vaping if there's no law preventing e-cigarettes being sold to under-18s.

That's from Douglas Central MHK Ann Corlett, who's calling for the Island to introduce age restriction legislation on the devices.

The Island currently doesn't have any laws stopping retailers selling the products to under-18s, despite the UK having brought in such restrictions in 2015.

She admits it's difficult to stop teenagers trying age restricted items, but without laws says it's even harder:
