We're told to expect gusts of 50-60mph
A yellow weather warning has just come into force for gale to severe gale force winds.
It will remain in place until 6pm tomorrow as Storm Amy heads towards the Island.
Ronaldsway Met Office says gusts of 50-60mph are likely, with possible gusts of 65mph in exposed coastal areas and on higher ground.
We're told to expect travel disruption, some fallen trees and minor structural damage.
An area of heavy rain will also move in from the west this afternoon, bringing the risk of localised surface water flooding.
