We're told to expect severe to gale force winds, rain, coastal overtopping and sleet/snow
Government agencies have begun to issue warnings ahead of the incoming Storm Chandra.
The UK Met Office has named the storm, which is forecast to bring strong winds, heavy rain and snow across much of the UK tomorrow (Tuesday 27 January).
Here on the Island, a yellow weather warning will be in place from 3am until midday tomorrow - you can read more HERE.
We can expect high winds of up to 55-65mph, localised flooding, coastal overtopping and possible sleet/snow on high ground.
TRAVEL OFF-ISLAND
As a result of that inclement weather, this afternoon's Manxman sailings and all of tomorrow's have been cancelled.
Meanwhile, the Isle of Man Airport is warning it may lead to some flight disruption.
Ronaldsway is advising passengers travelling on Tuesday to stay up to date by visiting its website or follow updates via your airline.
ON-ISLAND
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is 'strongly recommending' people avoid all glens and plantations during periods of high winds.
It's as a yellow weather warning has been issued for severe gales and rain, with winds increasing overnight and into tomorrow.
DEFA says its team will be carrying out checks, but if you spot any issues with trees that you think officers should be aware of, you're asked to message the 'DEFA - Hills, Forests & Glens' Facebook page or email forestry@gov.im
Meanwhile, if you come across a tree that has fallen into the road, you're asked to alert the DOI on 850000.
ROADS
Given the forecast of heavy rainfall and high winds overnight tonight, the Department of Infrastructure's Highway Services is to 'increase the number of staff on standby to respond to any localised flooding or fallen trees'.
It says: "High‑altitude roads will not be pre‑salted in anticipation of possible sleet or snow later.
"This is because the earlier heavy rain would render salting ineffective, as the salt would dissolve and wash off the road surface. The situation will be kept under review."
Highway Services can be contacted on 850000 or via its out‑of‑hours number on 672000.
