Strand Street smoking ban hard to enforce, says council leader

Hundreds sign online petition for smoke free zones

Campaigners are concerned about the health of shoppers, who may be inhaling second-hand smoke.

More than 600 people have signed the petition, which calls on both the council and central government to consider supporting the ban to protect public health.
