A student was injured in an accident outside the Wessex Garage in Douglas today (Monday).
It happened around 8.50am and also involved a car.
The pedestrian, thought to be a female student on her way to nearby Ballakermeen High School, was crossing the road.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance, with ankle injuries.
