Students engage with their STEM subjects

Primary school pupils learn about core subjects outside the classroom

Young children are being encouraged to get 'hands on' with their STEM subjects.

The words of Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce STEM Committee, David Hester who helped to launch STEM Fest.

The event, which took place at the Villa Marina in Douglas this week, is designed to get students involved with science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as well as local industries across the Island.

Mr Hester says the event also hopes to educate pupils about science and technology early on.
