Cancer services and mobility scooters also set to feature

The Education Minister will face questions on how Manx students are faring when the House of Keys meets this morning.

Dr Alex Allinson will be asked about the personal and financial challenges Covid is posing those furthering their education across the water.

Dr Allinson will be asked whether representations have been made to universities to cut what students have to pay for accommodation.

After giving a statement on oncology services, the health minister is likely to face supplementary questions from Onchan MHK Julie Edge.

Details about the work and cost of a consultancy at Ronaldsway airport, why Bus Vannin isn't in a position to allow class 2 mobility scooters on its buses, and what progress has been made on the new Castle Rushen High School are also on the question paper.

The sitting gets underway from 10am, with the Legislative Council also sitting this morning from 10.30.

Keys members and LegCo will come together at 2.30pm for an extraordinary Tynwald session.

It's to debate Brexit sensitive legislation from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.

Members had complained they were not given enough time to look through the 350 pages of detail when the document was put before Tynwald last week.
