'Substantial protections' in place to mitigate Omicron

CM also says LFT supplies remain stable

The Chief Minister insists the Island has 'substantial protections' in place to help mitigate the spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19.

The availability and uptake of vaccines and tools such as LFT's and mask wearing are supporting public health, according to Alfred Cannan.

The large majority of confirmed positive cases in recent days have been detected through lateral flow devices.

Mr Cannan also reaffirmed that LFT supplies locally remain stable:
