
The flow of illegal drugs smuggled into the Isle of Man Prison in Victoria Road, Douglas is drying up, with seizures this year already up considerably on the whole of 2007.
Most of the drugs are apparently thrown in over the prison wall or smuggled in by visitors, but simple countermeasures are proving highly effective.
The new prison site in Jurby will be even more secure.
