No dates yet for when schools reopen
Unite the Union says support staff at Manx schools are standing 'shoulder to shoulder' with teachers over concerns about reopening to students.
It has thousands of members occupying roles across the public sector, and echoes worries raised by other groups about safety, and 'a lack of consultation'.
Government has produced a 'roadmap' outlining how schools could reopen, but no dates have been included.
Unite's regional officer Debbie Halsall says support workers stand in solidarity with teachers on this issue:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
