167 property sales recorded last month
The Island's property market saw a significant surge in transactions in June when compared with the previous month, according to the website propertyprices.im
A total of 167 property sales were recorded - up 31.5 percent on the May figure. The combined total sum transacted was just under £66 million - 52 percent higher month on month.
Also up was the average price, which stood at £388,800 - 15 percent higher than the May figure.
The latest property price figures make gloomy reading for first time buyers, but provide evidence that the local property market is still performing strongly.
Analysing the records in which properties have been sold more than once in recent times demonstrates the pace of increase in some areas of the market; for example a semi-detached house in Onchan that sold for £280,000 in 2025 fetched £395,000 just over a year later.
The figures from propertyprices.im are obtained from the Isle of Man Land Registry.
