Surveillance testing to be carried out after new risk locations identified

Close Leece Farm and La Mona Lisa deemed low risk

Surveillance testing will be carried out on people who visited two low risk Covid-19 locations.

It’s after two new cases of the virus were identified.

Anyone who visited, or worked at, La Mona Lisa or Close Leece Farm during the following time periods is asked to contact the 111 service to arrange a test.

They are:

Thursday 25 February 2021
·         La Mona Lisa, Glen Road, Laxey, from 6pm to 7.45pm

Friday 26 February 2021
·         Close Leece Farm Café, Patrick Road, St John’s from 1.45pm to 2.30pm

Government says the risk to the general public is low.

Those who undergo surveillance testing, and members of their households, will not be required to self-isolate at this time.

Tesco has been identified as a further location of interest – between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Thursday, 25 February.

Anyone who was in the supermarket at the relevant time does not need to contact COVID-111 unless they have symptoms.
