Suspect faces further questioning

Detectives in the United Kingdom have been given more time to question a man suspected of murdering a woman who grew up in the Isle of Man.

Joanna Brown was the daughter of the late Chris Simpson, well known for his work with property developers Mill Baldwin in the 1980s.

Thames Valley officers are continuing to search for Mrs Brown after she disappeared from her home in Ascot.

The latest warrant of detention will allow police to question the suspect, understood to be her husband, Robert Brown, until tomorrow (Friday) morning.
