A Port Erin woman has avoided immediate custody, after admitting possessing cocaine.

Thirty-seven year-old Caroline Miller of Edremony was given a four month sentence, suspended for two years.

The court was told Miller had suffered difficulties which needed addressing and her child would suffer if a prison sentence was imposed.

High Bailiff Michael Moyle asked what thought Miller had given to her child when she committed the offence.
