
Nine dedicated swimmers have completed a marathon 47 mile swim across the Irish Sea – despite a fire on board, jellyfish galore and a lack of sleep.
The group of friends and colleagues swam through the day and night from Barrow-in-Furness to the Isle of Man in half hour relays, raising funds for BallaAfrica to build a community centre on the outskirts of Pretoria.
They spoke to Sarah Corker from BBC Isle of Man upon their arrival in Laxey.
