Take tea for 200!

An Island charity is preparing a right royal feast as part of the Island's diamond jubilee celebrations.

Isle of Man Live at Home is a befriending charity which visits isolated people at home, taking them out for trips each week.

On Tuesday (July 3), volunteers from all six Live at Home schemes in the Island will serve a Tea for Two Hundred at the Loch Promenade Methodist Church in Douglas.

The two sessions start at 11.30am and 2.30pm.

It's a chance to bring members together for a big party, to chat and meet old friends over tea, sandwiches and home made cream cakes.
