
Treasury should cut income tax to help the Manx public cope with the spiralling cost of living.
That strong statement comes from Trades Council President Bernard Moffatt, who says rising inflation could otherwise lead to higher pay demands and settlements.
He’s also calling for a budget mini-statement from the Government about the current economic situation.
Mr Moffatt understands they doesn't have many options, but feels a tax cut is one of them:
