A confident Eddie Teare easily held onto his seat in Ayre, topping the poll by over 600 votes.
He received the backing of well over 1,000 of his constituents, putting him well ahead of Andrew Newington-Bridges (429) and Pat Ayres (134).
Mr Teare said his level of support had increased:
