If you ride down on the train on Sunday, you’re sure of a big surprise.
The annual Teddy Bear's picnic returns to Rushen Abbey with trains leaving Douglas station for Ballasalla at ten to the hour from 9.50am until 3.50pm with a final train at 5.30pm.
Every child who brings a teddy bear can travel for free, as can older children with every full fare paying adult.
There'll be face painters, a mega slide, obstacle course, a bouncy castle, rodeo bull simulators and giant jenga, as well as the usual attractions of the ancient Abbey.
A vintage bus will meet the train at Ballasalla station to ferry picnic goers to the Abbey.
