A presentation for parents concerned at how to help their children cope with the pressures of their teenage years takes place tonight (Thursday).
The talk, entitled Teenagers! What Every Parent Has to Know, features Rob Parsons, the author of a number of books on parenting and is taking place at the Mount Murray Hotel.
Mr Parsons hopes to give worried parents the inside track on the traumas of modern teenage life, including the pressure for young people to fit in and look like celebrity role models.
The topic of the talk has proved so popular tickets for the event have already sold out, however the Alcohol Advisory Service, DASH and the Children's Centre will be in the foyer to answer any questions parents may have.
