DoI says lights will be manned during busy times
A set of temporary traffic lights have been put up on the A1 Peel to Douglas Road just on the Greeba side of Crosby.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's due to the depth of the broken out areas being too bad for traffic to travel safely over, meaning the road has been reduced to one lane at that point.
Staff, who will manually control the traffic lights, will be on site this evening during the commuter run to ensure traffic flow is the best it can be.
The DoI also says, if necessary, this will be repeated in the morning during rush hour (Wednesday 26 April).
