Testicular cancer awareness drive

Secondary school students in the Isle of Man are being encouraged to talk balls this week.

Speaker Wendy Gough's son died from testicular cancer, and she will be stressing the importance of not allowing embarrassment to prevent early detection.

It's one of the most curable forms of the disease if treated early.

The visit has been organised by the Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association, and ties in with World Cancer Day which is today.

On Manx Radio last year Wendy explained what men should be looking for during self-examination (audio file attached):
