National service in Douglas on Friday morning
A national service of reflection will take place at the start of the four-day bank holiday weekend.
The gathering is taking place at St George's Church in Douglas, starting at 11am on Friday, to remember those who were lost to Covid-19.
Another focus will be on everyone who has been affected in any way by the pandemic.
Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly hopes people have fun over the weekend, but says it's important to think about what we have all been through this year:
Construction costs on the Island 18% above UK average and comparable with Outer London
Wind farm debate to continue before committee
Call for compensation scheme for workers who become ill after contact with asbestos
Third candidate to stand for election in Douglas South
