Festival returns to Island

A one-day music festival is returning to the Island for the second year running.

TinkerMann is taking place this weekend at the Villa Marina, organised by TalisMann Promotions' Mark Armstrong.

This year 12 bands are performing in the villa gardens on Saturday (August 15) from midday into the evening.

The event is sponsored by the Steam Packet and Sure for the second time.

TinkerMann Too is set for Sunday, with live music at Laxey Woking Men's Institute from 7pm.

Tickets are on sale at £19.75 from the Villa Gaiety website and the Welcome Centre at the sea terminal.
