'Times are hard' for local charities but working with other organisations is 'really special'

Message from charities chosen by Mayor of Douglas for annual appeal

'Times are hard' for local charities but working with other organisations is 'really special'. 

That’s the message from three charities who have been chosen by Mayor of Douglas Steven Crellin to receive additional support through council events.

Forget Me Not, A Little Piece of Hope and the Great North Air Ambulance Service were chosen for their ties to the Island and the variety of services they provide.

Forget Me Not currently provides three nurses, based at Hospice Isle of Man, to support patients who have dementia and their families.
