Tin Baths ahoy!

The 47th World Championships today

Prepare yourselves. The nautical sporting event of the year is upon us.

After two weeks of motorcycling, it's time to turn our eyes to the sea for the 47th instalment of the annual World Tin Bath Championships.

Today (Sat 1), Castletown Harbour will be rife with tin baths, captained by locals who are ready to paddle for their lives - or go down with their ship.

The races will be held over two heats and a final.

Sinkers and floaters alike will battle it out in Heat One, which commences at 3pm sharp.
