Fewer seen around Island's coast in recent years
Fewer basking sharks being spotted in Manx waters could be down to how difficult it is to track the species.
That's from Dr Lara Howe at the Manx Wildlife Trust.
The sharks are typically seen around the Island during the summer months - you can track their activity by clicking here.
Dr Howe says some can go a full year without being spotted:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
