There's more roadworks misery for drivers in Douglas from today (Monday), as part of Lord Street becomes one way for a fortnight.
It's so the footpaths on the section between Bath Place and Duke Street can be reconstructed.
Another phase of the work is due to take place after the TT, when Lord Street will be resurfaced up to the Parade Street roundabout.
The Department of Infrastructure says some work will also be carried out at night between May 25 and 29, shutting Lord Street completely to traffic between 7pm and 6am on those days.
It says every effort will be made to minimise noise during the overnight periods.
