No one injured in incident on 20 August
A steam train suffered 'minor damage' on Tuesday (20 August) after colliding with a car which crossed the track in front of it.
It happened at 2.24pm near a crossing at Ronaldsway Halt, with the car also damaged.
The Department of Infrastructure says 'the train stopped and was able to proceed after a short delay to assess the condition of the loco' which sustained very minor damage.
Nobody was injured in the incident, and the DoI says it's important to remind all vehicle drivers to take great care when crossing any railway or tram line.
