It's after oversized vehicle pulled down part of the line
It could cost up to £5,000 to fix downed tram lines between Onchan and Baldrine.
Extensive damage was caused on Wednesday when an oversized vehicle attempted to drive under the wires.
On top of that, 200m of the copper wiring needed to repair the damage was stolen.
It's understood there have been multiple arrests in connection with the incident.
