Trams continue, despite poor figures

A assurance is being given that the future of the Douglas horse trams is secure, despite the number of users falling by a third this year.

A shorter season has been cited as one of the factors behind the drop in business, but a continued loss has led to suggestions the borough council should approach government for support.
