The main Peel Road in Douglas was closed to traffic for a time this morning, after a tree came down close to Pulrose traffic lights.
There were no injuries but there were tail-backs of vehicles until Department of Transport workers cleared the obstruction.
Quine's Corner was also closed due to concerns over structural damage, but was later declared safe.
