Man found not guilty of wounding with intent
The case of a former soldier accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend will be reviewed later today (Thursday).
Earlier this month, Lee Dillon was found not guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Jurors were unable to reach a verdict on a second charge of unlawful wounding.
This afternoon at Douglas Courthouse the trial will be reviewed and the next steps assessed.
Twenty-eight year-old Mr Dillon has always denied fracturing his former partner’s eye socket and stabbing her three times at his home in Marown in August 2016.
